"I mean, I only saw it for a second. Maybe they're just having a bad day. When my mom and Burt fight, it gets loud too but they love each other." And given that Finn was a dateless wonder these days, he didn't really think he could comment on it much. What did he know about love? Still, the body language alone made him wonder.
"He might be a bit possessive and jealous. It makes him a dick if he is but I don't know. I can't tell." He wondered whether this was just what it was like to date Blaine. "Kurt used to get frustrated and they always fought a lot."
"I guess... They didn't have a problem letting me hang though. I lived there for a couple months once and Kurt let me. Even when Blaine read fanfic to help me sleep." He had never really gotten used to the city. "I don't know Dallen but I liked Kurt more. I like when Blaine dates a guy that lets him hang with me. He's my little buddy, you know? I mean, you're great, don't get me wrong, but I can't really geek out with you."
Some things he could only get into with Blaine. "How is Kurt, anyway? Is he dating?"
"Uh, good question. I don't know. I mean, Kurt keeps these things to himself unless it's a bigger deal. I think he had a guy for a bit but they were casual or something. Usually when we talk, we talk about other things. Like his work or glee or our parents." Sometimes about his drug misadventures or Kurt's current frustrations with Rachel. Dating didn't really come up unless specifically asked about.
"He's doing well though, he's happy. He works at Vogue, he has a solid friendship group and he does plays sometimes. Rachel wants me to talk him into more of that but I think he really likes writing." Finn smiled fondly as he talked about how smart and cool Kurt was. "I should text him today, we haven't talked yet this week outside the group chat."
They had a group chat for the OG glee members to dish and share successes.
"Tell him nice greetings and ask him how to get his smelly ex-boyfriend to hang out with me," Sam told Finn, because he was feeling quite pouty about it all at this point. They had movie to watch, their DnD campaign was stuck in limbo, they had so many games to play and instead here he was, all alone. "I'm gonna hit the gym, do a quick workout. See ya later, buddy, yeah?"
With that he jumped to his feet, pulled Finn into a brief bro-hug and then jogged out of the room.
